This is a motorcycle helmet

I don't even know how to ride a motorcycle ( I know, completely kills my "cool guy" persona) but I would love to see one of these on the road. Of course you would need some sort of matching leather coat to go with it.

These are DOT-approved (or at least were) motorcycle helmets crafted by a Brazilian artist who uses "animal teeth, fangs, bones, and hairs besides fines stones from the Amazon river" to make these $100 helmets. [via I, Gizmodo]

  1. even if they are DOT approved i don't think i'd ever want to wear it for a ride! i'm one of those "don't take it out the box!!" kinda people...

    it's a pretty amazing piece.
